The Holy-Grail Beauty Round-Up…
It’s been a while since I’ve done a beauty update around these parts, so I thought I’d do a mega one today and a good one to bookmark for later if you’re ever in the market for my top, top, Above beauty recommendations. I don’t wear makeup every day, but I’ve oddly found that I’ve worn it more since I was a kid. Maybe it’s the lack of sleep, or maybe it’s true that just a little bit of makeup’pieces‘ I feel a little more put together for my many pushchair outings a day for the swings, but I strangely get more done – both personally and professionally – when I’m properly dressed in the morning. This is where I reach most…
,Glossier Futuredew – this stuff. this stuff!! It’s hard to describe, but it’s just the ultimate primer/mix with your foundation formula, if you’re a person like me who really doesn’t mind a little bit. It will be too heavy for the oily skin among us, but if you are combination or dry then this will be your new best friend. Go easy with it! One pump is applied to all the SPF-ed skin you need, or mixed with your chosen base. The second day I felt dry so I applied a little on my face as a highlighter with my hands and BAM, then the glow came on.
,NARS Light Reflecting Foundation in Salzburg ,Advertising – Genius) – I know I run around a bit with foundations and I have a few in my stash that I cycle through, but at the moment I am loving this foundation. It’s creamy and wet and long lasting and is exactly what I need right now. It’s a bit more cover than I’d normally use, but because of that I can only use a teeny tiny pump to apply with fingers for a natural look, or a brush when I need a bit more can be made with Love Multifaceted talent.
,Glossier Stretch Concealer in G10 —there’s just something about potted cream concealer. Some really creamy and high gloss that just glides on under the eyes and doesn’t necessarily cover the most, but is definitely up there when it comes to brightening properties. For me, shiny When it comes to this it is only the blueprint. There were a few months when I definitely needed something with more coverage, but I’ve been able to tone things down a bit on no-makeup, no-makeup days by pressing it under my eyes and around my nose.
,in dior forever skin correct 2n , Yes, Second Concealer. During the newborn days I actually, in true sense Realized the need for proper coverage, and that’s it. I keep it on hand many times when shiny Just doesn’t cut it, plus I like to use it under the eyes, around the nose, across the cheeks and a little more on my chin too. It’s a great medium coverage formula that’s not drying or heavy at all. Perfect for when I’m in a bit of a rush.
,CHANEL Les Beiges Oversized Healthy Glow Sun-Kissed Powder in Sunshine Light ,Advertising – Genius) – although this huge, voluminous bronzer is awesome, to be fair I do have swaps in this range that could be made. I am not too bothered as long as the tone is right and the formula is either creamy or powdery which is not overly powdery. I have to say at the moment I am enjoying the staying power and longevity of a powder and the tiniest amount of ‘glitter’ to work as a blur/finishing powder gets my vote – hence why this is a win for now I have been ,KOSAS The Sun Show Baked Bronzer in Light Soft Bronzer Really a good hoax.
,Patrick Ta Major Brow Lamination Gel – it is the best. It really is. I don’t do anything to my brows these days, just to make them look great Claire from Perfect Brow Brighton every month and let it do its magic. I never fill them or touch them except to put a piece of it on every morning. This is the only product for me that actually keeps my brows in an upright position from AM to PM, however be warned that you cannot go anywhere near them for the duration of the day as any contact will result in discoloration of the product Small white annoying pieces become. Sitting in your brows. Besides that, it’s perfect.
,Armani Beauty Eye Tint in 24 ,Advertising – Genius) – When I was writing this post I was terrified I was about to run out and didn’t have a backup so I just bought two more tubes online because I can’t live without this stuff. It is perfect for my skin tone.barely there / i’m not really wearing eyeshadowI shadow. I love that I can apply it in about 10 seconds flat for each eye – I wipe it off the applicator and then do a quick blend with a fluffy brush – and if I don’t bother it’s awesome look Use a primer that doesn’t crease. I just love the color and don’t want to live without it.
,Armani Beauty Eyes To Kill Wet Waterproof Mascara – I was first introduced to this formula a few years back when I worked with armani And it’s just Kajal that I always go back to too. Although there may be others in my collection that give more volume and length, this one holds a curl which is my ultimate mascara essential and gives a more choppy, natural look to my lashes. But it can also be made if I have the time or inclination. In fact it is a great multitasker which I always like to keep in my makeup bag.
,Augustinus Bader The Lip Balm ,Advertising – Genius) – I mess around with lip products, balms, glosses and shades, but really I’m just a lip balm kinda girl. If I’m in London for the day, or out with friends, I might like to play with colour, but on days when I’m at my desk or trying to kiss Ralph as he tries to escape Tries it so all I need is some nice ol moisture on my lips. This is a lot boujee but it’s also Mark’s favorite! A little treat twice a year that we love every time we do it.
I’m going to cheat a little here and say that for my 10th pick, I’ll go with ‘Tools’. I use the same makeup brushes and tools through the day. First I apply my base with my fingers, a beauty pie sponge*, or most likely westman atelier blender brush, This brush was a huge investment for me when it was first launched a few years ago, but it still looks brand new, washes up so well and applies foundation or concealer the right size and density for me ( Beauty Pie Seamless Foundation Buffing Brush* is a good cheat too!). then i use ZOEVA Luxe Grand Powder 90 Brush* For my bronzer, I curl my lashes with Surat eyelash curler*, and use a ZOEVA 223 Luxe Crease Brush* For any eyeshadow. Three brushes, one tool, one sponge – sorted,
