As I’m sure you’ve probably heard by now, Amazon Prime Day is July 12-13. (It’s also Target’s Deal Day!) It’s also a great time to save on some big-ticket items and stock up on everyday essentials. Sales are on the rise and it’s a little difficult to keep up, but I wanted to use this space to share some of my favorite items that are currently on sale. You can always shop my favorites on my Amazon Influencer page.

Prime Day Deal: Peloton / Home Gym
Bikeroo Oversized Bike Seat – Works on Peloton bikes and Bike+: For those who find the stock Peloton seat too small, this is a great comfort option. I have this seat, and while I found that I personally prefer the smaller original seat, I can understand why so many people love it. It’s very comfortable, and Steve actually likes it better. I personally reverted to the stock seat as I found that on the larger seat I really wasn’t maintaining my posture well, but totally get why people wouldn’t ride without it! *This is currently a Lightning Deal, so the price may have changed by the time you see it.
Manduka Pro XL Yoga Mat: I bought this just a week back after thinking about it forever and it totally exceeded my expectations. It’s a long and wide yoga mat with an excellent stick and cushion (but no *squish* that will affect balance.) At 79×52″, I finally feel like my plus-size body has a yoga mat. There is enough room to spread during and stretching. It’s a professional-grade mat and is expensive, but I highly recommend it if you want something super durable and large for home practice. This is not a mat you want to take with you to and from a studio as it is large and quite heavy. I’ve seen this particular mat for the past 4 months and I’ve never seen it go on sale like it does for Prime Day.
Fast flow water bottle: I use this exact bottle for all my Peloton rides. It fits into the cup holder of the Bike+ and Tread, seals very well, and has a strap if you want to carry it that way. I also use this bottle while flying as it is easy to access at water refill stations and I am confident that the seal will stay closed so that no liquid leaks into my bag. As I’m typing this is a Lightning deal, so the price may change when you see it. Also, the listing is for 1 bottle, not a set – I guess the pictures on this listing can be deceiving.
windex electronic screen wipes: I use these to erase the Peloton screen. They are not too wet and leave a streak-free finish. Also great with phones, TVs and computer monitors.
Prime Day Deals: Fashion / Beauty
I can’t find a lot of clothes that I would recommend. Size can be all over the place, so I don’t want to preach it until I’ve tried it or know someone who has. Will keep watching!
IGK First Class Dry Shampoo: The only dry shampoo I’ll use! I have tried so many brands over the years and this is my absolute favourite. I thought dry shampoo was a joke until I found this. If I know I won’t have time to wash my hair the next morning, I like to apply it to my roots before I go to sleep, but it also works well if you forget and apply it while styling. Let’s apply
IGK Good Behavior Prep Spray: I spray it through damp hair before blow drying. It helps protect against heat and leaves hair with a smooth, shiny finish.
grandlash eyelash serum: I have used this for almost 6 months and am amazed to see the results. This is not a quick fix product. You have to use it regularly in very small quantity and trust the process you will see longer lashes in 8-12 weeks. Start by using it every 2 days, then increase to every other day, and then daily as tolerated. It may cause sensitivity, so be sure to read all directions closely. But if used correctly and consistently, it absolutely works.
Alsea Bag: I’ve loved Alessa bags for years, and this is her latest design. This is a super luxe leather laptop bag, designed to look like a handbag. With the super secure laptop pocket and other large pockets for magazines, books, chargers, phones and more, this is a travel essential for me. I have the larger of the 2 styles (for laptops up to 17 inches), which is available in black for 34% off for Prime Day. The Small (for 13″ laptop) is available near me in Brandy at 30% off.
Prime Day Deals: Home / Tech
Samsung The Frame TV: I can’t explain how much I love my frame TV! A TV that you can use as a piece of artwork that might as well have a frame around it? I change out the art at least once a week and love how fresh it makes the space feel. We have the 2021 55″ version and added a frame from Deco TV Frames that is also on sale right now – $100 off frames $499+ with the code PRIMEDAY. We have hot silver frame.
Wall Outlet Shelf: I have 3 of these in my house and they are so convenient! If you have smart devices like the Google Home Mini, Echo Dot, etc., this outlet cover replaces the standard outlet cover with a shelf to lift your devices off of countertops. I have them in my kitchen, office and bedroom, and they hold my Google Nest Mini which I use as a speaker.
Smart Plug/Wi-Fi, no hub required: I use these smart plugs for a lot of things, including the fan in my Peloton room, and for every single Christmas light I have plugged into my house. This is a great price for a 4 pack. I like this style because it doesn’t block your outlet’s other sockets.
air purifier: I hate the smell of food in the house, and also have neighbors who like to use their fire pit and a husband who likes to use his smoker – both a source of smoke seeping into the house. Gives off a faint odor. This was recommended by a friend who uses them during the Colorado wildfires, and it worked great. It also has an easy-to-use app. I like that it monitors automatically – we had a refrigerator condenser blow and the purifier recognized the ozone/burning smell immediately.
Anova Circulator for Sous Vide Cooking: We’ve had an Anova Circulator for over 5 years and use it at least once a week to cook a perfectly cooked protein (usually steak or pork). In case you’re not familiar with the sauce: It’s basically a hot water bath. You put your food in bags (or vacuum-sealed packs) and let them sit in a container with circulation running at the desired temperature. Food cooks evenly and to that exact temperature without overcooking. No more overcooked steaks!
Stasher Bags – Reusable Storage and Cooking Bags: I bought these about a year ago to reduce the amount of disposable plastic bags I use. They’re perfectly sustainable, and I’ve used them to store food in the refrigerator and freezer, and have also used them in our water circulation when we think about food. A little effort to clean (tip, turn them inside out) but well worth the savings in waste.
genius food storage container: These are my favorite storage containers because they are crystal clear and have a really nice, airtight lid. I keep baking products in my pantry and also use them for refrigerated food storage. Dishwasher safe and really high quality.
Power Charger / Power Bank: I’ve had this power bank for a year and still haven’t been able to make it through a day or two. It charges itself quickly and quick charges for your compatible devices. I have owned many power banks in the past and this one is my favorite till now. Plus, it plugs directly into an outlet—no extra cord needed to charge it.
Kindle Paperwhite: I’ve had my Paperwhite for years and use it at least once a week. I’ve read in hour-long stretches and never experienced eye strain with it. They have several Kindles for sale, but this updated Paperwhite would be my pick.
Apple Airpods Pro: I use my AirPods Pro everyday, and only wish I had bought them at this sale price!!
Dawn Powerwash: I make sure that I never run out of this stuff in the house, and this deal for a total of 4 bottles is really good. This dish is one of my favorites for cleaning our cooktop, counters, and I even used it over the weekend on some exterior vinyl.
Spin Mop: I bought this mop on a promotional spree about a year ago and it fully lived up to expectations. There are extra mop heads in this set, which is really helpful. I have one mop head that I use to tile my outdoor patio room, one for indoor floors, and one for walls. Not that I usually mop my walls, but it’s nice if I want to quickly clean walls and crown molding. The beauty of the mop is how dry it gets when you swish it around. Wet enough to clean, but never any dripping or excess liquid.
