Who can use this smoothie? Everyone. Whether you have dry or oily hair, fine hair or dry hair, a banana smoothie will work for you. It is a great combination of moisture, protein and nutrients.

you will need:

1 ripe banana (use 2 if you have long hair)

1 tbsp honey

2 tbsp curd

1 teaspoon coconut oil (optional, adds texture to fine, oily hair)

Make it

Blend all the ingredients to a smooth puree paste. I also like to strain through a mesh strainer after blending so that no bits are left over as they can get stuck on the hair.

how to use

You can use this smoothie on oily or non-oily hair. If you have greasy, oily hair, you can add a teaspoon of coconut oil. It helps in improving the texture and thickness of the hair.

Apply on your scalp and hair. Wear a shower cap or wrap your head in a muslin cloth or towel. Leave it on for 20 to 30 minutes, then wash off.

Wash your hair with homemade shampoo or any shampoo of your choice. As long as you have not oiled your hair, you will not need much shampoo.

Let it air dry and your hair will look thick, shiny and gorgeous. Repeat once a week and nourish your hair.
